November 5, 2015
Please welcome the 2 newest members of the Snowday family: Jeeves Murphy & Elle Brigida!
Jeeves should be a familiar face, as he's been one of our subs since 2011 and is also a member of our sister group, Euphonism. He'll now be our lead tenor. Elle comes to us by way of Vocal Synergy & Cape Harmony and will be offering up some female vocal acrobatics!
Talented AND adorable! We love them already!

Snowday Welcomes Courtenay Shipley
October 7, 2014
Courtenay Shipley joins Snowday as our new full time member, singing both alto and soprano! Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Courtenay Shipley is no stranger to the stage. Growing up she participated in a number of theater and choral groups, the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra, CMU River City Youth Brass Band, and appeared with the Pittsburgh Symphony in their Side-by-Side program. She received a Bachelors of Music in Trumpet Performance from Vanderbilt University, where she directed Variations, the only co-ed a cappella choir at Vandy at that time.
Courtenay worked as a live and studio musician in Nashville, TN where she was performed with a number of groups including JonesWorld, The Establishment, Evan McHugh and his Tiny Orchestra, Mitch Ballard and the Western Swing Machine, Secret Gossip, The Exotics, The Bridge Music Team, Guilty Pleasures, and many others. She can be also spotted on a number of recordings singing background vocals and playing the trumpet for country artists, singer/songwriters, and jazz/big band groups.
Courtenay has been making special appearances with Snowday since the spring of 2014, and has also appeared as a long term sub for Euphonism since 2013.
Snowday to Return to SING! Toronto
April 1, 2014
Returning for a followup appearance in Canada, Snowday will perform a show at the Distillery Districts in Toronoto as part of the third annual SING! Toronto Vocal Arts Festival. The 4 day festival will feature dozens of free performances and workshops, as well as headlining shows by The Nylons and Kinsey Sicks.
SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival is Toronto’s first-ever a cappella festival, dedicated to celebrating Canadian and International vocal artists, and joined in collaboration by the same goal: to illustrate that the voice knows no limits – knows no constraints of genre, language or cultural background; to inspire and educate today's youth; and to foster a new and revitalized patronage for the vocal arts.
